Friendly Onboarding Flow for Health & Wellness Apps
Category:

A user’s first minutes in a health app set the tone for their entire journey. I design warm and encouraging onboarding sequences for meditation, fitness or habit-tracking applications. The focus is on reducing initial friction and building a sense of supportive partnership. You receive a multi-screen onboarding flow covering welcome, permission requests, goal setting and a first success moment. The design uses a friendly and rounded style with soft colors, gentle illustrations and conversational microcopy. The Figma file is fully built with auto-layout for easy adaptation and includes an interactive prototype to test the feel of the sequence. All custom icons or illustration placeholders are exported as SVG and PNG files. This approach works because it turns a necessary setup process into a positive brand interaction. Apps like Headspace or MyFitnessPal excel at making users feel guided, not interrogated. I avoid overwhelming users with too many questions upfront and use progress indicators to show how close they are to finishing. This service suits startups launching a new wellness product or existing apps looking to improve their retention rates from day one. My process involves mapping the emotional arc of onboarding as carefully as the visual layout.
