PAYMENT TERMS

1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
These Payment Terms (“Payment Terms”) govern all payments made through ArtJobMarket.com (“Platform”) for products and services offered by independent third-party Sellers.
By initiating or completing a payment, you agree to be bound by these Payment Terms in addition to the Platform’s Terms of Use and related policies.
2. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
2.1 Card Networks
The Platform accepts Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards only.
No other card networks, payment methods, or cryptocurrencies are accepted unless expressly stated by the Platform.
2.2 Currency
Payments are processed in [Currency Placeholder], unless otherwise indicated at checkout.
3. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND AUTHORIZATION
3.1 Third-Party Payment Processors
All payments are processed by PCI DSS–compliant third-party payment service providers. The Platform does not store full card numbers or sensitive authentication data.
3.2 Authorization
By submitting payment details, you:
- authorize the payment amount displayed at checkout,
- confirm that you are authorized to use the payment card,
- consent to the processing of payment data for transaction completion and fraud prevention.
4. STRONG CUSTOMER AUTHENTICATION (3D SECURE / SCA)
4.1 Mandatory 3D Secure
All Visa and Mastercard transactions are subject to 3D Secure (3DS) authentication in accordance with PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements, where applicable.
4.2 Authentication Flow
3DS authentication may require:
- one-time passcodes (OTP),
- biometric verification,
- banking app approval,
or other multi-factor authentication methods determined by the card issuer.
4.3 Failed Authentication
If 3DS authentication fails, is declined, or is abandoned:
- the transaction will not be completed,
- no contract is formed,
- the Platform bears no liability for resulting delays or losses.
5. PRICING, FEES, AND TAXES
5.1 Displayed Prices
All prices are set by Sellers and displayed prior to checkout.
5.2 Platform Fees
The Platform may charge service fees or commissions, which may be included in the final price or disclosed separately.
5.3 Taxes
Applicable taxes (including VAT or sales tax) may be added where required by law. The Platform does not provide tax advice.
6. CHARGES, ERRORS, AND DUPLICATE PAYMENTS
If you believe a charge is incorrect or duplicated, you must notify:
- the Seller first, and
- the Platform at team@artjobmarket.com
- without undue delay.
The Platform reserves the right to correct pricing or processing errors.
7. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES
7.1 Chargeback Prevention
Buyers are encouraged to contact the Seller and the Platform before initiating a chargeback.
7.2 Consequences of Chargebacks
Unjustified or abusive chargebacks may result in:
- account suspension or termination,
- restriction of future payments,
- recovery of chargeback fees from the Buyer where permitted by law.
7.3 Evidence Submission
The Platform may submit transaction data, delivery confirmation, and authentication records (including 3DS verification) to card networks or issuing banks.
8. SELLER PAYOUTS (INFORMATIONAL)
Sellers receive payouts subject to:
- successful payment settlement,
- applicable holding periods,
- deductions for refunds, chargebacks, fees, or taxes.
The Platform does not guarantee payout timing.
9. PAYMENT SECURITY
The Platform implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect payment integrity, including:
- encrypted transmission,
- access controls,
- fraud monitoring.
However, the Platform cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free payment processing.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform shall not be liable for:
- card issuer declines,
- 3DS authentication failures,
- delays caused by payment processors or banks,
- losses arising from unauthorized card use outside the Platform’s control.
11. MODIFICATIONS
The Platform may modify these Payment Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Payment Terms.
