Dashboard design is about making data understandable and actions obvious. I create interactive Framer prototypes for complex web application dashboards, focusing on user workflows, data visualization and interactive components. This isn’t a static mockup; it’s a working model of key dashboard screens where you can click on charts, toggle between data views, open modal windows and navigate between menus. The prototype simulates the real experience of using a data-heavy tool. I design up to five core dashboard views—like a main overview, a detailed analytics page and a user settings panel. I build reusable interactive components in Framer: data tables with sortable headers, filter controls that update other elements on the screen, modal windows and navigation states. This allows you and your team to test the logic and feel of the interface before development begins. For B2B SaaS or internal tools, getting the dashboard right is critical for user adoption. A prototype helps identify if a layout is intuitive, if the most important data is prominent and if the navigation makes sense. I draw on patterns from effective tools like Stripe’s dashboard or Google Analytics, prioritizing clarity over decoration. The final deliverable is a shareable Framer link that behaves like a real app, giving you a powerful asset for stakeholder reviews, user testing sessions or developer handoff.
