A travel app should fuel a sense of adventure from the first screen. I design mobile interfaces for city guides, tour companies and travel platforms that use interactive storytelling and bold, location-inspired color palettes to turn trip planning into an engaging experience. The design moves beyond static lists to immersive layouts that feel like flipping through a well-designed travel journal. This package covers the main user scenarios: discovering points of interest on a custom-styled map, browsing curated itineraries, saving places to a personal trip board and accessing offline guide content. You receive a full Figma project with all screens, including a custom-designed map interface with distinct landmarks and clear points of interest. I build a high-fidelity interactive prototype that allows you to simulate tapping a landmark on the map to see details, swiping through a photo gallery or adding a restaurant to your evening plans. Custom illustrated icons for categories like food, history and nature are included as SVG assets. The vibrant visual style helps different types of content—text, maps, images—feel cohesive and exciting. It encourages exploration and makes information easy to digest while someone is walking around a new city. The design needs to work perfectly offline, so layouts account for cached images and downloaded maps. I look at the user experience of apps like Lonely Planet and culturally specific guides for inspiration on balancing utility with inspiration. This service benefits travel bloggers creating their own app, tour operators offering a digital companion or cities developing official tourism guides, helping them present their content in a way that is both beautiful and highly functional on a mobile device.
